Jochen Kumm

Ease, balance and simplicity guide Jochen's teaching. Healing and removal of physical, emotional and mental limits are part of every class, and he hopes to bring joy to his students. His own practice combines dance, tai chi and yoga to achieve balance.

He often works with athletes developing the traditional yoga practice for injury recovery and prevention and teaches primarily in the Bay Area. Certified in Power Yoga, Vinyasa Flow and Yoga TuneUp, he believes life is the ultimate teacher training. Jochen’s other lives include genomics and health. Trained at Harvard and Stanford, he attempts to innovate and make the world a better place.
